Following rumours that 48-year-old British actor, Idris Elba and his wife Sabrina Dhowre welcomed their first child together recently, the role interpreter has debunked the rumors.
It was earlier reported that Elba confirmed to ET Canada that he and the Somali model are now proud parents to a baby boy, while promoting his new film, Concrete Cowboy, at the Toronto International Film Festival on Sunday, September 13.
Today, Elba took to social media to deny the news, saying that it is not true but that he is grateful for the congratulatory messages.
He wrote:
“Sab @Sabrinadhowre and i thank you for all the congratulations but we haven’t had a baby.. .. that’s not true😀 Don’t believe everything you read. Stay safe. 🖤”
Idris is also a father to 18-year-old daughter Isan and 6-year-old son Winston from previous relationships.
