Up and coming Nigerian singer, Akinmayokun Awodumila, Popularly known as MayD has stylishly revealed why his marriage crashed.
According to him, it’s because he went broke (a state of being without money/ lack of money).
Within Nigeria earlier reported that the Yoruba born singer took to social media to celebrate after his 2-year-old marriage to his Swedish wife, Caroline Wassmuth crashed.
MayD took to popular Micro blogging platform, Twitter and wrote:
“I’m single Again and free! For over 15 years I have always been in a relationship I think I need to be alone for some time!”
A follower then commented:
“Na money cause my own singleness Boss man….I need money badly”
MayD replied:
“Me 2 oh!”
MayD has not released any hit song since he parted ways with his former “unofficial” record label bos, Jude Okoye, many years ago. Could this be the reason? Time will tell.
