Nollywood actor, Abayomi Alvin has sent a strong message to Nigerian Instagram comedians who have been coming up with funny skits as regards to the ongoing #EndSARS protest.
Recall that for over a week now, Nigerian youths have taken to the streets to protest against police brutality and the scrapping of the ‘notorious’ Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).
Abayomi took to his social media page, through Instagram, where he urged skit makers to create meaningful skits instead.
“My dear skit makers..stop creating funny #Endsars skits. It is not funny! people are risking their lives out there for this movement. It you can’t create something meaningful with the movement, just leave it alone and meuuveeee!!!! We must’nt make everything funny or try to trend with everything” – Abayomi Alvin
