Former Big Brother Naija lockdown housemate Trikytee, has reacted after being called out on social media by some fans for allegedly requesting N500k as appearance fee, before he would attend the EndSARS protest in Bayelsa State.

Recall that the EndSARS protest has been taken place in many major cities across the country, as celebrities in Nigeria lend their voices against police brutality and reform.

Within Nigeria recalls that the reality star who is an indigene of Bayelsa State, had visited his state and was welcomed by the Governor after he left the BBNaija Lockdown house this year.

Some Nigerians took to social media to call out the reality star for asking for money for appearance, when other A-list celebrities are coming out to protest for free.

A protester with the Twitter username @GlorYBaee, said the reality star was also offered logistics to come to the state, but insisted on collecting appearance fee.

The Twitter user wrote;

“Lmaoo, Tricky tee said we should pay him 500k for appearance fee.. Just to come and lend his voice in #BayelsaProtest “

Another protester identified as MC Ijawpikin said the reality star told them that he would only participate in the protest in Bayelsa if he receives the sum of 500k as he Lagos based and has nothing to with Bayelsa protest.

Reacting to the allegations leveled against him, Mr Tranquility as he is fondly called by his fans, denied it saying it is all FALSE.

He tweeted;

“The news making rounds online is completely false and should be treated as such. I am for a good Nigeria and an end to police brutality. I have been out almost every other day in Lagos protesting alongside concerned Nigerian youths. #EndSARS”.
