Former Nigeria Federal Lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani has taken to his Twitter page to plead with the hoodlums that carted away the Oba of Lagos’ staff of office and shoe.
WITHIN NIGERIA recalls that the palace of Rilwan Akiolu, the Oba of Lagos, was recently overtaken by suspected thugs.
According to reports, the thugs broke into the palace situated at Lagos Island despite the presence of soldiers.
The hoodlums seized the Oba’s staff of office which is the symbol of authority of the monarch.
Reacting to this, popular politician, Senator Shehu Sani pleaded with the hoodlums to return the staff of office.
His Tweet read ;

Meanwhile, the Akinshemoyin ruling house of Lagos Island has send warning message to suspected hoodlums that attacked the palace of Oba of Lagos, Oba Ridwan Akiolu, while calling on them to return the staff of office of the Monarch or face the consequences.
