Kannywood actress, Rahama Sadau has been blacklisted by northern filmmakers under the control of Motion Picture Practitioners Association of Nigeria (MOPPAN) over a backless dress she wore in recent photos posted online.
According to Vanguard, the body in a statement said the post by the actress has resulted to blasphemous comments against the Holy Prophet of Islam on social media.
This is coming despite the actress’ apologizes to Muslim community over the controversy that trailed the dress.
Also earlier today, Rahama Sadau, succumbed to pressure and deleted the photo showing the backless dress that caused stirs on Instagram.
But despite these steps, she was still suspended and blacklisted by the body.
