Matthew Ashimolowo, a Senior Pastor of Kingsway International Christian Centre (KICC) in London says he was among those who signed a petition in the United Kingdom against the Federal Government over its handling of the #EndSARS protests.

He dared the federal government to come after him after if they do not agree with him on the signing of the petition.

Ashimolowo addressed his congregation in a recent service in Maryland, Lagos, where he made the assertions known.

“If they want to get me, let them get me, I am one of the people that signed the petition in London on #EndSARS protest and the Parliament will start hearing this week and if found guilty, Nigeria might be sanctioned,” Ashimolowo said during a recent appearance at his church in Maryland, Lagos.

On the effect of the coronavirus in Nigeria, Ashimolowo said: “Nigeria I hail o, coronavirus dey fear una, people dey catch am everywhere but una strong o.”

More than 200,000 people signed the petition started by Silas Ojo.

A member of the Conservative Party Theresa Villiers kicked off the debate at the Westminster Hall on Monday.
