Founder and senior pastor of Christ as of Old Ministry (God of Now Now) popularly known as Ritabbi predicted that the ongoing academic staff union of universities strike will come to an end on Friday, June 17, 2022.

Recall that the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) started its strike on February 14, 2022 and Joint Action Committee (JAC) commenced its own on April 14, 2022.

The unions embarked on industrial actions while demanding improved welfare packages, better working conditions, and the implementation of various labour agreements signed with the Federal Government between 2009 and 2020.

In a video which went viral, the senior pastor identified as Ritabbi could be seen addressing his teeming church members and predicted that the ongoing ASUU strike will end on June 17, 2022.

“I serve a God that breaks protocols. And I am a prophet. Listen to me. By the 17th of June, ASUU is calling off its strike”, Ritabbi said.

As at the time of filing this report, the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has not called off its strike.

Barely two days ago, the Federal Government stated that the issue concerning the ongoing strike by Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, and three other university-based unions was not as simple as people think.
