The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) on October 13 announced the commencement of online registration for the Airmen/Airwomen Basic Military Training Course (BMTC) 46/2025.
The force disclosed that the application process is free of charge and will be open from October 14 to Nov. 25 through its official recruitment portal: www.nafrecruitment.airforce.mil.ng.
WITHIN NIGERIA discovered that the recruitment is available to both tradeswomen aged 18-27 and non-tradesmen aged 18-22.
According to the recruitment notice signed by Air Vice Marshal A. H. Bakari for the Chief of the Air Staff, all applicants must be Nigerian citizens with at least five credits, including Mathematics and English Language, from no more than two sittings of the WAEC, NECO, GCE, NABTEB, or NBAIS examinations.
While advising candidates to be physically, intellectually, and medically fit, the Air Force also stated that they (applicants) must print acknowledgment, assent, and attestation documents that must be signed by the relevant local government or security official.
“Those applying as tradesmen or athletes must additionally provide professional certificates or other relevant credentials. Successful applicants will be invited to zonal aptitude exams and other screenings at Air Force centers across the country.”
It highlighted that the entire process is free of charge and cautioned candidates to avoid fraudsters or phony websites.
How to apply for the Nigerian Air Force Recruitment 2025:
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Interested applicants must critically study and observe the eligibility criteria before they apply. This will help them know if they are eligible or not.
Requirements for eligibility are as follows:
Age: Interested applicant must be within 18 to 22 years for non-tradesmen and 18 to 25 years for tradesmen/women.

Interested applicant must posses minimum of 5 credits in SSCE, NECO, or GCE, including English and Mathematics

Interested should click on “Apply Now” and create an account using a valid email address and phone number
Interested applicant should verify email address to activate his or her account
Interested applicant should log in and fill out the online application form with required details
Interested applicant should upload scanned copies of his or her certificates such as academic, birth and passport photograph
Interested applicant should review and submit his or her application
PRINTING OF ACKNOWLEDGEMENT SLIP AND FORMS
Interested applicant should print out the acknowledgement slip and other required forms after submission.
Interested applicant should also print attestation form which must be signed by a Military Officer or Local Government Chairman
Interested applicant should print Local Government Indigeneship form and Parent/Guardian Consent form
