NDA Admission 2025/2026: How To Apply For 78th Regular Course

The Nigerian Defence Academy has disclosed the commencement of online applications for admission into its 78th Regular Course, opening on Friday, November 28, 2025, and closing on April 30, 2026.


The disclosure was made on Wednesday via a statement released by the Academy Registrar.

According to the registrar, the application is open to eligible male and female Nigerians.

The registrar, via the statement, further disclosed that prospective candidates are required to visit the application portal at www.ndaapplications.net to purchase an access code and complete their registration.

“Candidates should log on to the application portal, select ‘Purchase Access Code,’ and fill in their details to pay for their application via REMITA after first obtaining their Order ID and REMITA Retrieval Reference (RRR) Code in the sum of N7,000,” the Academy said.

The NDA stressed that applicants must strictly follow the official payment procedure.

“Please note that only payment against RRR Codes generated via the application portal will be accepted,” the statement warned.

The Academy urged applicants to read all instructions carefully before proceeding. “Visit the link for more details. Please read carefully and follow the instructions,” it added.

HOW TO APPLY FOR THE 78TH REGULAR COURSE OF THE NIGERIAN DEFENCE ACADEMY (NDA)

ELIGIBILITY CHECK?

Any interested applicant must be a citizen of the Federal Republic of Nigeria

He or she must be within the age of 17 to 21 years old as of August 2025

He or she must have a minimum of 5 credits in SSCE, NECO, or GCE, including English and mathematics

He or she must be 1.68 meters (male) and 1.65 meters (female) in height

He or she must be single without legal dependents

APPLICATION PROCESS?

Any interested applicant should visit the NDA application portal (www.ndaapplications.net)

He or she should create an account and pay the application fee (#7,000)

He or she should fill out the online application form

He or she should upload required documents (SSCE results, JAMB results, etc.)

He or she should download and print the acknowledgement form

AVAILABLE COURSES?

A check by WITHIN NIGERIA revealed that there are ten (10) courses available for interested applicants to choose at the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA)

These courses are accounting and management, electrical/electronics engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, intelligence and cyber security, biological sciences, mathematics, chemistry, physics, and computer science

NOTABLE DATES

Eligible Nigerians who fall within the age brackets of 17 to 21 must take note of these important dates: the application deadline—November 28, 2025—and the screening test date—April 30, 2026.
