Barely 24hours after APC Chairman was killed in Nasarawa, Gunmen kidnap two, kill another in fresh attack

Barely 24 hours after unknown gunmen abducted and killed the Nasarawa State chairman of APC, another similar incident has occurred.

The fresh attack took place in Agwada, the headquarters of Agwada development area in Kokona LG, involving one Alh. Kankau, a Fulani man and his family members.

Sources said that the Gunmen stormed the house of Kankau at 2:00 am on Sunday and shot sporadically, before whisking away his two children.

It was learnt that they killed one of his sons and injured two of his wives, who are currently receiving treatment at the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Keffi.

The executive chairman of Kokona LG, Saidu Kurki confirmed the incident to newsmen.

As at the time of filling this report, Police division in the area was yet to release any statement on the incident.
