Nigerian comedienne Damilola Adekoya, popularly called Princess has recounted his ordeal following her wedding, which she tagged ‘mistake that should never happen’.
Princess disclosed that she nearly killed herself when she got pregnant because her life went down shortly after she tied the nuptial knot. She added she was sad and didn’t address the situation properly.
Talking to media personality Chude in a recent interview, she said she went on drugs. “My wedding that I did, that was a mistake that should never happen, and then when I fell I didn’t pick up myself. I was sad, even sad is even an understatement. My life just went on pulse. “
“2019 I was homeless. My husband came begging me, I got pregnant for him but unfortunately I’ve a pregnancy that nearly took my life and change everything about me, which I take 15 tablets of drugs every day.
“When you fall down, others will surely step on you even unknowingly because they’re running as well for their life, which I nearly took my life, but I don’t blame them,” she said.
Princess’ marriage to Yoruba movie actor/producer, Jeremiah Adeshola, lasted two weeks. The couple held a quiet wedding at the Federal Marriage Registry in Ikoyi, Lagos, on May 8, 2013. This was followed by a lavish ceremony held at Balmoral Events Centre, Oregun, Lagos.
