Amidst the growing Russia/Ukraine crisis, former big brother Naija housemate, Nina Onyenobi has weighed in on the matter.
The BBN star on social media wrote about the ongoing military action of Russia against its neighbour, Ukraine.
Nina who shared her thoughts via her Instagram stories wondered why the majority of people waited for Putin to begin military action against Ukraine before docking for safety.
She noted that the Russian President had been threatening Ukraine for weeks now and anyone who felt a need to flee should have done so before things got hot, citing that it’s just common sense.
Nina Onyenobi asked the reason why Ukrainians bound for the airports and train stations are doing so now. She wrote:
“Why does people always wait for last min before running to safety, Russia been threatening Ukraine for weeks now and most foreigners still didn’t think its wise to go back to their countries, everywhere is hot in Ukraine right now and they are running to the airport and train stations, to do what exactly please? I feel like it’s good to take necessary steps while you still can than waiting till the dying min before realizing you need to move . It’s common sense”
