Iconic Nigerian musician has become the most nominated African artist in the history of BET Awards.
The record was announced on social media after the nominations list for the upcoming BET Awards 2022.
Wizkid made this record following the two nominations he got in the forthcoming edition of the sought-after award show that will take place on June 27, 2022.
Wizkid got a nod each in the ‘Best male R&B/pop artist’ and ‘Best Collaboration’ categories.

Other Nigerians nominated for the 2022 BET Awards were Tems and Fireboy DML. Tems was nominated in the ‘Best International Act,’ ‘Best Collaboration,’ and ‘Best New Artist’ categories.
Fireboy DML was nominated in the ‘Best International Act’ section of the award.
