Nollywood actor, Yomi Fabiyi, has condemned a viral video of a woman being violently flogged with a cane by her boyfriend and his buddies for allegedly cheating.
The video surfaced lately depicting a young woman being laid low, her hands held at both ends and viciously flogged by her boyfriend and his friends over infidelity claims.
The incident enraged Yomi Fabiyi, who described the behavior as “stupid, nasty, and and outrageous violation.”
Yomi Fabiyi demanded that the violent crime be investigated and that justice be served and also advised the victim to file a police report against her boyfriend and his pals. Fabiyi wrote:
“I don’t want to believe this is true, BOYFRIEND BEATS GIRLFRIEND BECAUSE SHE CHEATED AND HAVE IT FILMED. THIS IS STUPID, DIRTY AND GROSS VIOLATIONS.
It must be investigated and justice served. That is if the lady is not stupid and turn off pressing charges.
I will continue to advise, avoid crimes. And always remember an android phone is LETHAL the moment it has Internet.
Children these days are trained on SOCIAL MEDIA as most parent have abandoned their responsibilities. And we as a society must be weary of what we indulge or promote in the name of social media, blogging, cruise or so.
Many are recording, posting or commenting what may send them to court, prison, body bags etc.
