Famous singer and rapper, Folarin Falana alias Falz has shared a disturbing video of the moment demonstrators took to their heels after policemen fired tear gas at the Lekki Tollgate in a bid to disperse the crowd.
Today, the 20th of October 2022, Nigerians choose to hold a peaceful demonstration as well as remember people who were shot on the 20th of October 2020 during the #EndSARS protest.
Unfortunately, what should have been a peaceful and serene demonstration turned ugly as men of the Nigerian Police Force fired tear gas at citizens indiscriminately.
Falz who showed up at Lekki Tollgate alongside Mr. Macaroni, Sowore, and so on took to his Instagram story to share a video of the moment of unrest.
Captioning the video, the singer wrote:
“Their usual show of madness. They tear-gassed us but we are safe. Thanks to everyone checking in.”
