Popular Nigerian footballer Victor Osimhen and other Super Eagles squad members of Nigeria have joined forces to combat cyberbullying, standing firmly behind their teammate, Alex Iwobi.

The move comes in response to the wave of criticism directed at Iwobi following Nigeria’s loss to Ivory Coast in the AFCON finals.

After the defeat, social media were flooded with negative comments and criticisms targeted at Alex Iwobi, prompting several celebrities to speak out in defense of the player.

Expressing their discontent with the online harassment, these figures urged critics to cease attacking Iwobi and instead show support for the entire team.
