Nigerian rapper Falz has disclosed that he has never professed love to anybody before.
Falz, in an interview on Menisms Podcast, noted that he has never been in love with anyone.
Speaking about his love life and level of commitment, he stated that he has not reached a point in a relationship where such expressions of love are made.
Falz who has once been rumoured to be in a romantic relationship with songstress, Simi said none of his partners have ever professed love to him either.
The rapper said it could be because he usually makes the terms of his relationship known upfront so the other person doesn’t go beyond the boundaries set.
“I have never said I love you to anybody. I have never been in love or gotten to that level of emotional commitment before. And they have not said it to me sha. You know there is a level in a relationship where it’s like, ‘Oh, I love you, baby, I love you too’, I have never gotten there.
“I’ve just not made the commitment. I have always been upfront about my feelings, disposition and commitment early on, so we are usually on the same page. That way, nobody is going to run off on their own tangent because we know what is going on.
“Also, from time to time, I feel like these conversations need to be revisited every often. At the end of the day, it is not like I am not expressive, maybe I have just been consistently true to the cause and I have now become accustomed to the mindset of always guiding.”
