Ondo-based chef Adeola Adeyeye, popularly known as Chef Deo, successfully completed her cooking marathon.
She completed the 150-hour cook-a-thon in the late hours of Thursday, July 6th, 2023, surpassing the previous record of 93 hours set by chef Hilda Baci.
Chef Deo had informed Guinness World Records of her intentions beforehand and received their approval to commence the cooking marathon.
A massive crowd gathered at the event venue in Ile-Oluji, the headquarters of Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo Local Government in Ondo State, to celebrate her achievement after she reached her target.
The cook-a-thon began on June 30th, 2023, and was concluded on July 6th, 2023.
