Following the Presidential Tribunal decision, popular Nigerian comedian Lawrence Oluwaseyitan Aletile, aka Seyi Law, is under fire for disparaging members of alternative political parties.
Recall that On Wednesday, the presidential aspirant for the Labor Party, Peter Obi, and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, candidate, Atiku Abubakar, were defeated by President Tinubu.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), announced the President as the winner of the presidential election on March 1.
Seyi Law, a self-professed ardent supporter of President Tinubu, took to the internet to celebrate the good news and to make fun of Peter Obi’s followers.
He inquired as to whether Obidients were crying or anticipating a repeat.
According to Seyi Law, Peter Obi didn’t win the 2023 election and he is aware of this, He noted that Peter obi just wanted Tinubu to be declared ineligible because he believes he will have a greater chance of winning in a repeat.
“Have they started crying already, or are they still hoping for a rerun? What a waste” He tweeted

“I have said it before and I will say it again that PETER OBI knows he didn’t win the election. He knows. He only wanted Tinubu disqualified because he thinks he has a better chance of winning a rerun with @atiku”.
Many criticized him for his statement as they found it offensive.
