The story shared by @steevaneagain on Twitter (now X) recounts how the singer played a crucial role in salvaging his relationship with a thoughtful and unexpected gift.
According to the young man, several years ago, as Valentine’s Day approached, he found himself facing financial constraints, leaving him unable to afford a gift for his girlfriend, who happened to be an avid fan of Korede Bello.
Determined to make the day special for his girlfriend, he took a chance and reached out to the singer via Instagram Direct Message (DM), pouring his heart out about his predicament and seeking assistance.
With a humble plea, @steevaneagain requested Korede Bello to like a photo of his girlfriend and leave a comment, explaining that it would mean the world to her.
The message sent to the singer read;
“Nigga abeg biko follow my bae Olamide please please please… Just click the username from here and please comment on one of her posts that it’s me o, u can even mention me too. That’s her val gift, me no get money.”
To his surprise, Korede Bello promptly responded upon reading the message, replying with ‘Done.’
Fast forward nine years, @steevaneagain took to social media to express his gratitude and share the heartwarming story.
