Despite removing his profile photo, deleting all posts on Facebook, and finally deactivating his handle, ever-busy netizens have uncovered the identity of One Okoronkwo Ejike who accused Mercy Chinwo of sleeping with her colleague and pastor, Nathaniel Bassey.
The saga ensued after Okoronkwo Ejike took to his Facebook handle to insinuate Mercy Chinwo’s baby’s resemblance to Nathaniel Bassey, stating that the duo had an amorous affair which produced the baby.
Although he later surfaced to tender an apology, some netizens and fans of Mercy Chinwo who weren’t satisfied insisted that he face the wrath of the law for such a slanderous comment.
In light of this, Nathaniel Bassey and Mercy Chinwo’s husband, Blessed Uzochikwa instituted a legal action against Okoronkwo, alongside other netizens who echoed the same allegation.
Okoronkwo Ejike in a bid to hide his identity speedily cleared his Facebook handle, removing all pictures but some netizens were quick to lay hands on a photo of him, thereby exposing his identity.
