Anonymous blog, Gistlovers recently exposed the alleged reasons behind the crash of AY and Mabel Makun’s marriage.
According to Gistlovers, AY’s infidelity included affairs with his wife’s friends, politicians, and even a Big Brother housemate, leading to significant rifts. The blogger also alleged that his wife once caught him with a man; an exposure that startled many
Mabel, in response to AY’s indiscretions, embarked on a revenge affair with politician Idris Aregbe, who was also married at the time. Mabel allegedly used the money from this affair to support her household after losing their properties to a fire. This affair contributed to Idris’s divorce, although it was kept low-key to protect his political career.
Mabel was also accused of being in an amorous affair with an undisclosed Nollywood actor barely for pleasure purposes.
The situation reached a breaking point when AY discovered explicit messages between Mabel and Idris on her phone. This confrontation led to threats, including Mabel threatening to release incriminating tapes of AY. Attempts by family members to mediate were unsuccessful, resulting in Mabel leaving their home and issuing a press release to preempt AY’s potential actions.
