Blessing Iripia, who made history as UNICAL’s first female SUG president, explained that the appointments followed a thorough evaluation of the candidates’ conduct, credibility, enthusiasm, transparency, and their potential to contribute positively to the Students’ Union Government.

“After carefully examining and assessing the following individuals based on their conduct, credibility, enthusiasm, transparency, and commitment to the Students’ Union Government’s progress and advancement, I am pleased to announce the following appointments for the efficient operation of Blessing_Alims_Led_Administration,” she wrote.

The official appointment letter, issued on August 1, stated that the new roles would take effect immediately, pending further screening and confirmation by the SUG Senate.

Iripia, a student of Peace Studies and Conflict Resolutions in the Department of Political Science, was elected to the position on June 14, 2024.

Netizens Reactions…

Karen Bush asked: “So what will be her own job, after appointing half of the whole school as aides??.

Anonymous said: “She is inspired by the nonsense they call politics at the state and national level. Nigeria is officially the country with the worst humans when it comes to leadership at all levels. A common school prefect taking 50 as aides so she could have much of the sug funds to steal. Believe me she is one of those younger ppl look up to in one of these mushroom churches scattered all over. Nigeria is a moral disaster and the open sore of the entire world.”

ObaiGods said: “50 aides too much for SUG of institution.”

Dullale Abbas said: “By the time this one becomes a Governor, she’ll have 1 million appointees.”
