Barely a month to his highly anticipated white wedding with wife Chioma Adeleke, music superstar Davido has found himself at the center of a fresh cheating scandal.
Explosive allegations surfaced online on Friday, July 25, accusing the Afrobeats singer of having an affair with a woman identified as Jessie Awazie, while also allegedly paying her hush money to keep the affair quiet.
The claims were posted by a Snapchat user operating under the name Milkshake, who alleged that Davido paid N25 million to Jessie after she threatened to release a sex tape involving them.
The poster also alleged that Chioma might have been exposed to an infection from the affair, warning her directly: “You are married to your enemy.”
Among the allegations was the claim that Davido gifted Jessie a Birkin handbag, which the whistleblower said was second-hand, and further claimed it was allegedly facilitated by Layal Tinubu, the wife of Seyi Tinubu.
“Jessie Awazie has been sleeping with your husband. Davido gave her $20,000 to start a business. But he cannot even open a business for you,” the poster wrote, directing the message at Chioma.
The post also sensationally urged other celebrities including Zoro, Layal Tinubu, and even Burnaboy, to undergo medical tests, alleging that Jessie is a “carrier”—an apparent implication that she may have a transmissible infection.

This development comes as Davido and Chioma prepare for their white wedding set to take place in August 2025, following a traditional ceremony held in 2024.
Despite fanfare and public excitement over the wedding, the timing of these allegations has raised eyebrows across social media, sparking speculation, concern, and criticism in equal measure.
As of press time, Davido has issued any public statement addressing the fresh allegations.
This isn’t the first time the award-winning singer has been caught in the middle of infidelity accusations. In 2023, multiple women, including Anita Brown and Ivanna Bay, made public claims about being involved with Davido. However, the singer denied wrongdoing and reaffirmed his commitment to Chioma, whom he described as the only woman he wanted to marry.
The latest scandal threatens to cloud the lead-up to what was expected to be one of the most high-profile celebrity weddings of 2025.
