The All Progressives Congress (APC) Caretaker/ Extraodinary Convention Planning Committee has denied suspending former Imo State governor and senator representing Imo West, Rochas Okorocha.

On Tuesday night, a letter purportedly signed by Governor Mai Mala Buni and Senator James Akpanudoedehe, Chairman and national secretary respectively, had announced indefinite suspension of the Imo Senator, He was accused of gross misconduct and anti-party activities.

But, the National Secretary of the party however denied knowledge of the suspension of Okorocha who has been embroiled in power tussle with his home state governor, Hope Uzodimma, for the control of the party structures.

Senator Akpanudoede said that the document in circulation was forged.
