The Kaduna State Government on Saturday began the enforcement of the ban on motorcycles and restrictions of tricycles from 6 am to 7 pm.

Recall that the state government had banned the use of motorcycles for commercial purposes, or riding to work, and also placed restrictions on tricycles.

Tricycles will only be allowed to operate from 6.00 am to 7.00 pm. The government said the order which takes effect from September 30, 2021, was to curtail the activities of bandits.

The enforcement on the ban of motorcycles for transportation or commercial purposes applies to everyone, including law enforcement agents who ride their motorcycles to their various places of work.
