Ballon d’ Or: Three players Messi voted for in Kopa Trophy revealed

The three players Paris Saint-Germain star, Lionel Messi, voted for in the 2021 Kopa Trophy have been revealed.

According to Diario Sport, Messi voted for Barcelona’s Pedri, Paris Saint-Germain’s Nuno Mendes and Borussia Dortmund’s Jude Bellingham.

The Argentine captain gave Pedri three of his votes for the Kopa Trophy, or first-place in his ranking,

The 34-year-old then gave two votes to Mendes and one vote to Bellingham.

Recall that Pedri won this year’s Kopa Trophy (best player under 21) earlier this week at the Ballon d’Or ceremony in Paris.

Pedri thanked Messi specifically after he won the Kopa Trophy.

Messi was crucial in helping the youngster when he broke through at Barcelona at the beginning of last season.
