Queen Elizabeth II of England has reportedly tested positive for COVID-19.
This was contained in a statement released on Sunday by Buckingham Palace.
According to the palace, the Queen is experiencing “mild cold-like symptoms” but will continue “light duties” at Windsor over the coming week.
“She will continue to receive medical attention and will follow all the appropriate guidelines,” the palace said.
The Queen had been in contact with her eldest son and heir, the Prince of Wales, who tested positive last week.
WITHIN NIGERIA had earlier reported that Britain’s Queen Elizabeth was pictured standing and smiling on Wednesday, days after a Remembrance Sunday service at the London cenotaph, due to a sprained back.
Wednesday’s was the 95 year-old monarch’s first in-person public engagement since spending a night in the hospital last month.
