The Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project, SERAP, has threatened to drag the Federal Government to court.

SERAP has threatened to sue President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration for barring 72 million telecommunications customers in the country.

The nonpartisan group criticized the blocking of lines without due procedure.

In a tweet, SERAP wrote: “BREAKING: NIN-SIM registration: We’re suing the Buhari administration over the blocking of 72 million subscribers from making calls without due process of law.”
