Nigeria’s Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has stated that Oyo state and the entire country would miss the intellectual capacity of the late Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi.

This was stated on Friday by Osinbajo during a condolence visit to the Oyomesi, the Oyo State Government and the family of the late monarch.

Osinbajo said Oba Lamidi Adeyemi was a very knowledgeable man who could argue brilliantly on many issues despite not being a professor.

The vice president said the late Alaafin had a deep understanding of many issues including international issues, saying he wrote so many papers despite not being academic.
