Eddie Nketiah, Arsenal’s young striker, has been instructed to leave the club this summer in order to become a great player.

The young forward scored twice as Arsenal defeated Leeds United 2-1 at the Emirates on Sunday.

The victory puts Mikel Arteta’s team four points ahead of Tottenham in the hunt for a top-four finish next season.

The striker’s contract expires in the summer, but Arteta is allegedly desperate to keep him at the club.

But Liverpool legend, Jamie Carragher, has advised Nketiah to leave the club to get the opportunities he needs to develop.

Speaking on Sky Sports, he said, “Yes [Arsenal] should try to keep him, but I don’t think he’ll ever end up first-choice striker, so I think it would be better for him to move on.”

Nketiah has scored four goals in his last four Premier League matches for Arsenal. This has caught the eye of potential suitors.
