The All Progressives Congress (APC) has fixed a new date to screen its presidential aspirants for the 2023 general election.
The party on Monday said the screening will now take place on May 24, 2022.
The National Organising Secretary of the party, Suleiman Argungu, made the disclosure in a statement.
Argungu said the party would be screening its 28 presidential aspirants who obtained forms on Tuesday, May 24th, and Wednesday, May 25th at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja.
WITHIN NIGERIA had reported that APC postponed the screening of its presidential aspirants indefinitely.
The party had said “The Screening Exercise for Presidential Aspirants of the All Progressives Congress (APC) earlier scheduled to be held on Monday, May 23rd, 2022 is hereby postponed. A new date for the exercise will be announced shortly.
“Any inconvenience caused is deeply regretted.”
