Pollish striker Robert Lewandowski has announced his exit from Bayern Munich.

Lewandowski, who join the German giant in 2014, said his continued stay at the club was practically impossible as the club won’t keep him.

“My era at Bayern is over. I don’t see any possibility to continue playing for this club anymore,” Lewandowski told reporters at Warsaw.

“Bayern’s a serious club and I believe they won’t keep me, I don’t want to play there anymore. A transfer is the best solution. I hope they don’t stop me,” he added.

Lewandowski is yet to unravel the club he would join after exiting from Bayern. However, ace football transfer journalist, Fabrizio Romano in a tweet on Monday said “Barcelona have already reached a verbal agreement with Lewandowski on a three-year deal, waiting for FC Bayern.”

Lewandowski, 33, joined Bundesliga Champions eight years ago from Dortmund.

In his eight years at Bayern, Lewandowski enjoyed a sterling and enviable career, netting 344 goals in 374 appearances.
