The students were seen with placards with inscription like “CSO must go”, “Our cars should move freely”, “enough is enough CSO” among others.

Speaking with WITHIN NIGERIA, the Students’ Union President of the school, Comr Adepoju Zakay Olusegun said the action is for the betterment of the students.

On the state of security, the Students also called for the immediate removal of the school Chief Security Officer, Mr Odushina, stressing that he has no quality to head the security unit in the institution.

The Union, equally demanded that the Students Union be integrated among the decision makers on policies affecting the students populace in the school.

Reacting to the demonstration and call for his removal, the school Chief Security Officer, Mr Odushina said the Students demands are baseless and should be disregarded.

According to him “ Yes the gate was locked this morning” he confirmed.

“I was appointed based on the approval of the governing council, no student have that right to remove me …”

He recalled how the immediate past Student Union President of the school “Adebam” made case with him and the management and thereafter regretted his actions, adding that the Student Union President matter is also now at the Students disciplinary committee.

He, however cautioned the students against public disturbance, stressing that they will be arrested.

Meanwhile, the Public Relations Officer of the school, Mr Sola Lawal promised to release a statement shortly.
