The spokesperson for the Tinubu-Shettima presidential campaign council, Festus Keyamo, has debunked reports that President Muhammadu Buhari ordered his removal.

Reports had emerged on Monday that President Buhari and members of the Aso Rock cabal were displeased by the manner Keyamo is going about the discharge of his new duties.

They allegedly called for the removal of Festus Keyamo as the spokesperson for the All Progressives Congress APC Campaign Council for always de-marketing the regime.

According to report, Keyamo was allegedly described as a ‘loose cannon who is daily portraying Buhari’s regime as a failed one.

Reacting, Keyamo on his Twitter page said the news was fake.

”Very funny fake news. When people feel uncomfortable with your uncompromising defence of your mandate, they promote such fake news to achieve a purpose.

”The opposition think they can plant stories to destabilise our ranks. This is the height of the panic mode they find themselves.”
