Gov. Ifeanyi Lawrence Ugwuanyi has received former President Olusegun Obasanjo, at the Akanu Ibiam International Airport,  Enugu on Sunday afternoon.

Former President Obasanjo arrived Enugu Airport with the Leader of Afenifere, the Yoruba apex socio-political group, Chief Ayo Adebanjo.
WITHIN NIGERIA gathered that they are in Enugu for the 70th birthday celebration of the former President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, a Pan Igbo sociocultural group, Chief John Nnia Nwodo, holding at St. Mulumba Catholic Church, New Haven.

Chief Nnia Nwodo was the immediate past and 9th President-General of the group who handed over to Prof. George Obiozor in 2021.
