The All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council has approved the Oyo State Media and Publicity Committee’s constitution.

The approval was contained in a letter signed on Tuesday by the Director of Media and Publicity, Bayo Onanuga.

The letter was addressed to Alhaji Kehinde Olaosebikan, the APC PCC’s Oyo State Publicity Committee.

“We write to convey the approval of the Media and Publicity Directorate for nominated Members of your committee as submitted,” Onanuga stated in a letter dated December 13, 2022.

We however expect that they will discharge their responsibility diligently. We congratulate you and your members.

Reacting, Olaosebikan said: APC Presidential Campaign Council assembles the best media experts to run Tinubu campaign in Oyo State.

MOlawale Sadare, Akeem Oyetunji, Olukemi Ajayi, Sikiru Akinola, Femi Popoola, Dr. Joshua Oyebamiji, and Dr. Olatunde Abdulazeez are members of the committee.

Adebisi Moshood, Fatai Adesokan, Afeez Bolaji Repete, Adesola Yaqub, Princess Bola Oyewumi, Olubunmi Shodipo, Bose Oyewole, and Tunji Ajibade are among the others.

Olaosebikan, who chairs the Oyo State Media and Publicity Commission, has extensive experience in the media.

He was the late Governor Lam Adesina’s Chief Press Secretary, during which time he instituted the KO allowance, which is still enjoyed by journalists in Oyo State today.

In 2011 and 2015, he was the Presidential Campaign Council’s Director of Media and Publicity.

Olaosebikan, a former Oluyole Local Government Area Chairman, was also a former Oyo State gubernatorial aspirant.

The famous article “What Lam Adesina Told Me About Bola Tinubu And His Ability To Win Against All Odds” was written by Olaosebikan, a great lover and follower of the APC presidential candidate for the 2023 elections, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The article, published in March 2021, predicted that Tinubu would celebrate his 71st birthday as Nigeria’s president-elect.
