Former Minister of Education, Obiageli Ezekwesili, has said the forthcoming presidential election is a fight to rescue the country from the hands of selfish politicians holding it back.
She noted that the poll is a battle for the soul of Nigeria.
Ezekwesili disclosed the statement on Friday in a post via her verified Twitter handle.
She said the darkness over the nation is not yet enough for those who love power for the sake of it and acquisitions, adding that they want to darken it more.
She wrote, “You all should better know that the 2023 presidential elections, in particular, is a “Battle for the Soul of Nigeria”.
“The darkness over our Land is not yet enough for those “who love Power for the sake of Power and acquisitions”, so they want to darken it more.
“Will you allow them?”
