Dino Melaye, a former senator for Kogi West, has won the Kogi State PDP governorship primary.
He received 313 votes, beating out Idoko Ilonah, who received 124.
Awoniyi Sunday had 77 votes while Musa Wada had 56 votes
The former lawmaker will be up against Usman Ododo, the flagbearer of the All Progressives Congress for the election.
