Former Minister of Education, Obiageli Ezekwesili has taunted President Muhammadu Buhari supporters over their lamentation on the perennial insecurity that pervades the country.

The good governance advocate asked the president to hand over power to her so that she can address the deepening security crisis in the country.

Ezekwesili remarks followed cries by Buhari’s supporters over his failure to secure the country, citizens and residents of Nigeria.

The former Minister, in her tweet on Wednesday, described the president as an “ineffectual Commander-in-Chief of the Nigeria Armed Forces.”

Ezekwesili said she has accepted the vote of confidence by Buhari’s supporters in her.

She wrote, “Let’s ask the ineffectual Commander-in-Chief of the Nigeria Armed Forces @MBuhari to swiftly hand over power to me so I can satisfy his supporters’ cry on his ignoble failure to secure the country, citizens and residents of Nigeria.

“I welcome their vote of confidence in me.”
