Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State has announced the reappointment of his Press Secretary, Mr Humwashi Wonosikou, in his first appointment following his reinauguration as governor.
Wonosikou’s reappointment was announced at a gala night dinner held Monday evening at the Government House in Yola to commemorate Fintiri’s inauguration for a second term.
Fintiri had earlier on Monday morning announced the dissolution of his cabinet, asking all his commissioners and other political appointees to hand over government properties in their care.
Hours later, Fintiri was sworn-in along with his new deputy, Prof Kaletapwa, at the Ribadu Square in Yola as the only two officials of the new government.
More appointments into the cabinet are expected in the next few days.
