The Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) on Sunday Imo state chapter executive members resigned from their respective leadership roles within the PDP.
WITHIN NIGERIA reports that Collins Opuozor, the PDP’s state publicity secretary, and other party officials informed news reporters in Owerri of this new developments.
They said that the reason for their resignation was an alleged act of violence, intimidation, and attempt to injure executive members of the Imo PDP by supporters of Samuel Anyanwu, the Imo state People Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for governor.
