Fabrizio Romano, a football transfer analyst, has provided insight on Arsenal’s rumoured bid to sign Paris Saint-Germain superstar Kylian Mbappe.

Mbappe has been linked with a shock move to Arsenal.

Romano debunked the rumour, claiming that no Premier League club is in contact with the France international.

The Parc des Princes will not re-sign the 24-year-old 2018 World Cup winner.

Mbappe had announced that he would not be renewing his current deal with PSG for another year.

The 24-year-old now intends to leave Les Parisiens as a free agent in the summer of 2019.

According to Football Transfers, Arsenal is considering buying Kylian Mbappe next summer.

Romano told the CaughtOffside column, “Despite some big headlines, I honestly have absolutely no news on any English clubs being in talks to sign Mbappe.

“If something will happen in the next months, we will say that, but at this point, I’ve absolutely zero information on this one.

“Real Madrid are always very well informed on Mbappe; I’m not aware of anything else at this point.”
