  • Justice Tsammani said the FCT is not more important than other states in the country
  • Peter Obi of Labour Party had scored more than 25% of the votes cast in the FCT during the 2023 presidential election.

According to the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal (PEPT), the FCT does not have any distinct advantages over other states.

Justice Haruna Tsammani, who took over to rule on the substantive case brought by Obi and LP, announced this on Wednesday.

The FCT is not more significant than other states in the nation, according to Justice Tsammani.

Recall During the 2023 presidential election, Peter Obi of the Labour Party received more over 25% of the votes polled in the FCT.
