Governor Abba Yusuf of Kano State has appointed Abdullahi Ganduje, the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and Rabiu Kwankwaso, the 2023 presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, to the Kano State Elders Forum.

Yusuf also appointed other former federal and state leaders in the state as members of the council.

The governor disclosed this while addressing a press conference at the Governor’s Lodge in Abuja.

He said: “I wish to announce the formation of the Kano Council, which will serve as an advisory body to the government of Kano State under my leadership.
