At approximately 1:00 pm on Monday, January 15, President Bola Tinubu arrived in Owerri, the capital of Imo state, to attend the inauguration of Governor Hope Uzodimma for a second term.
Prior to this, the president took part in a wreath-laying ceremony honouring the 2024 Armed Forces Remembrance Day.
He was greeted at the airport at the airport by Governor Uzodimma and a number of other notable state and federal leaders.
The ceremony will take place at Owerri’s Dan Anyiam Stadium, and afterward, the Nigerian president and a few officials will launch projects in the state.
