In a call to action, Prof. Kailani Muhammad, Director-General of the Confederation of All Progressives Congress Support Groups (CASG), has urged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to tackle the pressing socio-economic issues confronting Nigeria head-on.

Speaking at a special breaking of fasting event in Abuja aimed at fostering unity among Nigerians regardless of religious or ethnic affiliations, Prof. Muhammad highlighted the multitude of challenges plaguing the nation. These include insecurity, poverty, hunger, food shortages, currency devaluation, inflation, and a struggling economy.

Expressing confidence in Tinubu’s commitment to Nigeria’s progress, Prof. Muhammad emphasized the need for bold action. He stressed the importance of Tinubu and his associates taking decisive steps to address these issues.

Acknowledging the pivotal role of the APC in bringing the current government to power, Prof. Muhammad asserted the collective responsibility to support Tinubu’s efforts. He urged Tinubu to employ his political influence and take the necessary tough decisions, even if it means stepping on toes.
