The Confederation of All Progressives Congress Support Groups (CASG) has called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to prioritize reviving defunct factories, industries, and companies to stimulate economic growth. Prof. Muhammad Kailani, the Director General of CASG, appealed in Abuja, highlighting the importance of rejuvenating these sectors for the nation’s economic development.

Prof. Kailani also cautioned President Tinubu to remain vigilant against conspiracies that could undermine his administration ahead of the 2027 elections. He expressed concerns about potential political challenges and emphasized the need for proactive measures to address them.

During the event, an Igbo cultural group, Nzuko Nd’Imo Organisation (NNIO) Worldwide, honoured Prof. Kailani with the chieftaincy title of “Idudu Ndu,” meaning “breath of life.” The group, led by Dr. Ochendo Ogidi, also recognized Prof. Muhammad Adelaja for his contributions to national unity and cohesion.
