2. THEY PREVENT DIARRHEA

Dates can also prevent diarrhea because they are rich in potassium which returns the normal function of the intestinal flora by stimulating the beneficial bacteria.

3. THEY SOOTHE CONSTIPATION

Besides treating diarrhea, dates are efficient in treatment of constipation too. Soak a few dates in a glass of water and leave them overnight. Drink the beverage the next morning to boost digestion. This beverage has a mild laxative effect.

 

4. THEY CONTROL BODY WEIGHT

If you are trying to lose weight, eat dates on an empty stomach. They control the weight loss process because they don’t contain any cholesterol, however they are rich in sugar which is why you should be careful not to consume too much of them.

Dates cleanse the blood vessels and also prevent clot formation because they help remove the bad LDL cholesterol from the blood.
